Dirty Bath Water is one of the most diverse, original and exciting bands you will hear today. Incorporating different genres of music from Rock & R&B, and Acoustic Ballads, the members of Dirty Bath Water write and produce their own original music.

The DBW ensemble is best described as an eclectic group of individuals from various backgrounds: Haitian, Jamaican, Irish & Polish. Each member possesses unique personalities, great showmanship and a myriad of awesome talent; which can be best experienced during a live performance.

    • Danny (Huggybear) – Guitar & Vocals
    • Wesley (Shea Baby) – Keyboard & Vocals
    • John (Fudge)- Drums, Beat Box & Vocals
    • L.A. (LANSTARR)- Trumpet, Trombone & Vocals
    • Randy (Uncle Randy Motts)- Bass

DBW’s vision on stage remains consistent: to be present and savor the moment and radiate throughout the audience. Far from being plagued by the emotionless, over-practiced and artificial sound of current bands, their music is tight and yet fluid enough to allow the emotion of the crowd to connect with their performance.

The members of Dirty Bath Water met in Nassau Community College, doing plays together and finding out each other’s love for music, they started writing together and performing at cast parties, which eventually led to club gigs. Wesley who plays piano and Danny who plays guitar met in 2001 and started the band, and Wesley coming up with the name Dirty Bath Water from his childhood band when he was 9 years old. Fudge who also went to school with them joined in as a drummer a year later, then Randy the bass player joined in 3 years later after coming to several shows.

DBW’s first album, “Just a Little Bit of Dirt Won’t Hurt”, was released in 2005. The album was produced after winning the Beach Hut Battle of the Bands contest three times, each time winning valuable studio time that would have otherwise been beyond their reach financially. Two years later, in 2007, the boys released their second album, “Cover Band Killers” on ITunes, and have seen their fan base reach new heights.

Their music has taken them to such stages and venues as; The Dave Matthews Band Sidestage at the Tweeter Center in MA, The Boulton Center, The Bitter End, Jones Beach, The Crash Mansion, The Knitting Factory, and in 2009 the Bird’s Nest Arena in Beijing, China performed with superstar Song Zuying for over 60, 000 people and televised. Written about in Good Times Mag, Aural Fix, to having their songs played on the radio WBLI and 94.3.

Dirty Bath Water has just finished up there new demo EP “Atlas”.
